About “My Cats Tail”
Inspired by the true story of my cats Zoe and Yoshi, which you will find in my archive. I’ve had this idea and title in my head, of a children’s story, for a number of years. It just kept being one that I continually put on the shelf until now.
My love of cats and all animals began with my father when I was a child. You see my father brought home stray animals and in particular cats. If a cat needed food, shelter, or veterinary care they could find a home with us. In our garage there was a big basket with a blanket where Ginger, Mittens, Checkers, Cinders, Tiger, Butterscotch, etc, all slept. In the house lived our three legged dog Misty, and in almost every home movie of me as a child there was some sort of animal included in the picture unless we were out of town, and then there would be a horse if I could find one on the street.
So “My Cat’s Tail” or your cat’s tale will change weekly. I will post one new story/caption and photo that either I provide or you send to me of your cat or cat’s tail, I mean tale. It can be just a sentence or two, or several paragraphs, it just needs to be funny, interesting, sweet, or unusual: something that you think will add to the “My Cat’s Tail” collection and archive.
“My Cat’s Tail” is a home for all things cats, especially shelter and rescue cats, the ones that so often fall between the cracks. So enjoy and share a tale or two. And when you have a few minutes check out the story of Zoe and Yoshi, my muses for “My Cats Tail”, good for cat children of all ages.
