About “Cracks In Sidewalks”
I’ve always had this fascination with cracks in sidewalks. I know that sounds strange, but it’s true. To me they have always been beautiful. I would draw them and paint watercolors, obviously not always very colorful. But I was captivated by the beauty of what you find in the unexpected, how different pieces of something whole split up and become something new, and the way shadows appear when it rains and flowers and weeds sprout in some place that to most eyes is seemingly lifeless.
“Cracks In Sidewalks” is about just that. It’s the discovery of something unusual, less expected or out of the way; a little gem; or something lost and buried, inspirational, odd or interesting that could easily be passed over.
With that in mind, this blog will be cracked into several different categories covering a wide spectrum of life, music, media, art, culture, palette, pleasures, travel, friendship, fashion, animals, benefits and charities, events, the yet to be unveiled and the unknown.
This is where “Cracks In Sidewalks” will begin. If necessary we can weed it as we go. See where the cracks naturally fall, or what unexpectedly appears and grows on its own.
